The sun’s rays splinter the morning clouds, illuminating the turquoise waters of the Florida Keys. Osprey scan for their breakfast, while in a nearby mangrove, egrets and heron stir. Waves rock the Indian Summer II, at anchor, ready for another day of sailing.

On its bow is its captain, Jennifer MacLean, moving through the warrior poses of her sun salutation yoga series. This is how she starts her workday, not fighting traffic, not stopping for a grande latte, not tucked into business attire. She is centering her spirit for another day of guiding women through the ropes of sailing.
